The proof
We profiled 22 styled-text generators and tested the 7 market leaders in depth on accented characters. None of the 7 handles them properly.
Two ways to fail, and both show. Decomposers drop the accent beside the letter, so the result renders differently depending on the font and device of whoever reads it. Ignorers leave the accent plain, so your sentence comes out half-styled.

What ETeext doesn’t do
- Styles only work in the Latin alphabet. Russian, Hindi and Arabic can’t be made bold or gothic: those characters don’t exist in Unicode. That’s Unicode’s limit, not ours. (Separators and frames do work in every script — they transform no letter.)
- Screen readers handle styled text badly. Keep it decorative: never for something someone actually needs to read — an address, a number, an instruction.
- Styled text is invisible to search engines. This isn’t a flaw we hide, it’s a habit worth having: keep plain what machines read, style what eyes look at. How →
- The AI tools run on your own Google key, which is free. This isn’t “AI included”, and that’s deliberate: your text never passes through our servers.
