Where you can insert styled text on Steam
Steam lets you paste styled Unicode into your persona name, nickname and profile summary, but the vanity URL is ASCII-only.
Styled Unicode usually works in these spots:
- your profile name ~32 characters
- your profile summary
- your nickname

Does styled text work everywhere on Steam?
Not always — it depends on the field. Some spots accept styled Unicode, others keep their own in-app fonts. Check the list above and preview with Safe Mode.
Why do some characters show as squares on Steam?
